The ZUS32405 is a COSEL ZUS series isolated DC-DC converter rated at about 3 W that converts a nominal 24 V DC input into a regulated 5 V DC output, in a compact SIP package that mounts directly on the board. It provides an isolated output in a small footprint, so it suits a board that must derive an isolated low-power rail from a 24 V bus, such as a control interface, a sensor front end or a communication port, where the isolation protects the logic and breaks a ground loop. The converter provides a regulated output with protection and operates over an industrial temperature range, and the board-mount package keeps the design small.
